Data & Privacy

Where is the parent and student data stored?

All data remains safely in your Google Sheets. The add-on simply reads your list to generate tickets and updates it with check-in timestamps. We do not store your sensitive school data on our servers.

Can we validate specific appointment times?

Yes. You can use the 'Sessions' feature to define time slots (e.g., '10:00 AM - 10:15 AM'). When you scan a parent's code, the app will warn you if they are arriving at the wrong time.

Operations

Does it work in areas with poor Wi-Fi?

Yes. School reception areas often have spotty internet. You can sync the attendee list to the check-in app beforehand, allowing you to scan and validate QR codes completely offline.

Can multiple staff members scan at once?

Absolutely. You can add as many check-in accounts as needed, allowing multiple teachers or staff members to check parents in simultaneously at different entrances.

Is this free for schools?

We offer a free tier for small events (up to 20 attendees). For larger student-run events or fundraisers, our 'Sponsored' mode is free for up to 10,000 attendees.
