How do I track VIPs vs. General Admission?

You can use any column in your Google Sheet to designate status (e.g., 'VIP', 'Press', 'Staff'). This information appears on the scanner, allowing your door staff to direct guests to the appropriate lounge or area.

Can I manage access to specific areas like a VIP lounge?

Yes. You can define 'Sessions' for different areas (e.g., 'Main Event', 'VIP Lounge', 'Backstage'). You can then control which guests have permission to enter which specific areas.

Reliability & Access Control

Does the system work if the venue has poor WiFi?

Yes. You can sync your guest list to the check-in app beforehand. The system will continue to validate tickets and prevent duplicates offline, syncing data once connection is restored.

Can I have multiple people checking guests in?

Absolutely. You can add as many check-in accounts as needed. This allows you to have multiple entry lanes or check-in staff at different locations (e.g., main entrance and VIP entrance) simultaneously.

What happens if an uninvited guest tries to enter?

The scanner will show a 'Red' invalid status if a QR code is not on the list. If a valid ticket is used a second time (e.g., passed to a friend), it will alert the staff that the ticket has 'Already been used'.
