Tickets & Security

Can I prevent tickets from being used twice?

Yes. The scanner app checks the database in real-time (or offline cache) and alerts you immediately if a ticket has already been used, preventing duplicate entry.

Can I customize the look of the tickets?

Absolutely. You can add your event branding, logo, and background image to the PDF tickets. You can also map specific spreadsheet columns (like 'VIP' or 'Seat Number') to appear on the ticket.

What happens if I have poor internet at the venue?

The system is designed for this. You can sync your attendee list to the mobile app before the event. Once synced, you can scan and validate tickets completely offline.

Operations

Can I have multiple people scanning at different entrances?

Yes, you can add as many check-in accounts (scanners) as you need. This is perfect for events with multiple gates or VIP access points.

How many attendees can the system handle?

The system currently supports up to 10,000 attendees per event, which covers most conferences, concerts, and private gatherings.

Is there a cost for using this system?

It's free for small events (up to 20 guests). For larger events, we offer a quota-based pricing model. Student-run non-profit events can often use the system for free.
