How to Manage Concert Entry with QR Code Tickets

A step-by-step guide to setting up a professional, fraud-proof box office system using Google Sheets.

Consolidate Your Guest List

Export your ticket sales data from your ticketing platform (like Eventbrite, Stripe, or WooCommerce) and paste it into Google Sheets. Ensure you have columns for Name, Email, and Ticket Type (e.g., VIP vs. General). The add-on creates a tracker based on this existing data, so no manual data entry is required.

Design and Issue Tickets

Open the QR Code Ticket add-on. Configure your PDF ticket template by adding your event banner or logo. Map your sheet columns to the ticket fields so attendees see their specific Seat Number or Entry Gate. Once designed, use the 'Send' feature to bulk email unique QR codes to all ticket holders.

Gate Operations

On event day, have your security or door staff download the tracking mobile app. Share the event access with them. If internet connectivity at the venue is unreliable, instruct staff to 'Sync' the event beforehand. As fans arrive, scan their codes to validate entry. The dashboard will show you live attendance numbers.
