Referral program: free check-ins for you and a friend
Know another event organizer? Give them your referral code. You both get free check-ins, on top of the 10 attendees every event includes for free.
Find your code in the dashboard footer
Open the add-on and scroll to the very bottom of the dashboard. Your referral code is there: 8 characters, like K7TPM3XW.
Share the code with another organizer
Send it to a friend who runs events. The same code works in the Google Sheets™ and Google Forms™ add-ons.
Your friend enters the code in their own add-on
They scroll to the footer field "Have a code from another organizer?", enter your code, and 50 free check-ins are added to their project right away.
How it works
Example
Amina gives her code K7TPM3XW to a friend who is planning a school fair. The friend applies it and starts with 50 free check-ins. When the fair sends its 20th ticket, 25 free check-ins land in Amina's project, and 200 more follow the day the friend pays for the first time.
What free check-ins are worth
Free check-ins are spent when you scan guests on event day. Every event already includes 10 attendees for free; the referral check-ins come on top of that, so a small event can cost nothing at all.
Avoid these mistakes
- You cannot enter your own code. It must come from another organizer.
- Each account can apply one code only, so pass yours to someone who has not used one yet.
- Each project carries one referral. Applying a code to a second project does not work.
