How to scan QR code tickets with several phones at the door

The short answer
With QR Code Ticket, every helper scans on their own phone, using just the browser, and all scans flow into the same attendance record. There is no limit on the number of check-in staff and no per-device fee, so a long line is solved by handing more phones to more helpers. Each staff member gets their own access, which you can restrict to specific sessions or entrances and revoke at any time.
Step by step
-
1.Open the check-in access page
In the add-on, go to the check-in access page. This is where you open the scanner for yourself and share it with your team.
-
2.Invite your helpers
Give each helper their own access. They open the scanner in their phone's browser; nobody installs anything, and nobody needs your Google account.
-
3.Decide what each helper can do
If your event has sessions or several entrances, you can limit a helper to just the sessions they are working. You can also choose what guest details staff see when they scan.
-
4.Scan in parallel
All phones scan at the same time against the same guest list. A ticket checked in on one phone is immediately flagged as used on all the others.
-
5.Keep an eye on the room
Your spreadsheet shows every check-in with who scanned it and when, so you always know how full the room is and which entrance is busiest.

Common questions
How many staff can scan at the same time?
As many as you need. There is no limit on check-in agents and no extra cost per device.
Do my helpers need the add-on or a Google account?
No. Helpers only open the scanner in their phone's browser through the access you give them. The add-on stays on your account.
What if two entrances scan the same ticket?
Check-ins are shared across all scanners, so a ticket used at one entrance is immediately rejected at the other.
