Who sends your ticket emails, and why it matters

Email is where most surprises happen the day before an event, so here is what actually decides whether your tickets go out.

Your own address looks best

By default the ticket comes from you, so guests recognise the sender and can reply to you. The catch is that Googleâ„¢ counts those messages against your daily limit, which is usually a hundred messages with a free account.

Our address gets the rest out when your limit runs out

You can let us send the remaining tickets from our own address. Guests receive their ticket the same day, with the same content, but the sender is ours and replies come to us.

The practical advice

For a list longer than your daily limit, start the day before, or turn on the fallback sender before you begin. Sending a test to yourself first costs nothing and catches most mistakes.
